John Treharne

Dear Ron, I have never written a letter like this before, but I feel I need to write this one. I have been a customer of yours for several years now, and I have purchased three complete wiring kits, plus several accessories. The reason for this letter is this. I just finished another car, but made the STUPID mistake of buying one of your competitor's kits. It seemed a little less expensive, and I had seen many of their ads. After using it, I realized what a GREAT product you have provided me with in the past. Your instructions are much easier, your wires better marked, and in short, your kits are far superior to your competitor. I am sorry it took this experience to make me appreciate your Company. I am starting on a '33 Ford roadster now, and you can rest assured I will order another package from you. I am sorry I had to learn this the hard way, but I DID learn. Thanks for the super products you have provided me over the years. I will order my next kit shortly. My best wishes, John Treharne, Boise-Idaho

Will have your turn signals on it, as soon as I receive them.

DEAR CONNIE,  I JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW HOW HAPPY I AM WITH MY WIRING KIT THAT WAS INSTALLED ON MY 1958 CHEVROLET STATION WAGON. BEFORE IT WAS PUT IN , THE CAR WAS UNUSABLE,EVERY TIME I TRIED TO TAKE IT OUT SOMETHING WAS NOT WORKING. THE EASE THAT YOUR KIT GOES IN AND THE WIRING THAT IS SUPPLIED TAKES ALL THE GUESS WORK OUT .  WAYNE BUTLER WHO INSTALLED THE KIT WAS SO IMPRESSED HE PURCHASE A KIT FOR HIS CAR.  THIS IS THE SECOND CAR THAT I HAVE USED YOUR PRODUCTS ON.  AGAIN THANK YOU FOR THE GOOD SERVICE,   DAVID R. Jeff Jarvis of Austin, TX

If you can "follow directions," the Ron Francis harness kit will do the rest. I completed the project about 9 months ago and have yet to have a problem. Judging from the quality, this is not a surprise. The low cost was.

As an engineer, I see plenty of items that will "do the job." The Ron Francis kit is far superior to others I looked at with respect to design, high end components and application. My money was well spent for the value I received.

I won't waste time on my next project by "shopping" the electrical system. You can expect to hear from me again as a repeat customer.

Sincerely,
Jeff Jarvis

Les Brazier's kudos for the Ice Box

Thanx for developing the "Ice Box" which I picked up at the goodguys NW nationals in Spokane Wa............  it wired to my original Francis wiring harness so easy it was rediculous.  The high/low setting were a snap and my cooling fan issues are solved.  If you would like photos of my '53 Plymouth street rod, I would be happy to forward some.  Thanx again.  Cheers Les Brazier

1947 International Fire Engine

Brian Bowers of Westminster, Maryland created this way cool "Lil Red Fire Rescue" from a fairly plane jane, but rare, original fire truck. Loaded with trick items, this chopped truck sports an extended cab with lots of bells and whistles....literally! I'm sure the 454 w/871 blower gets him to the fire faster than most! He uses it to teach fire safety to children - and I'm sure they never forget what they 've learned! We caught up with Brian at York, during the NSRA Nats East, where he raved about how EASY it was to install his wiring harness. Ours, of course! We hope to see this Lil Red Fire Rescue at many more shows!

Thanks a bunch Ron just as in the past (February of 04) you are quick to reply with the right information, which is why you are getting my money and not Painless or some other wiring company, you put the customer first. - rex1585@our web site. Mike Hartwell, Austin, TX

“I'm STUNNED - literally stunned - your harness is a God-send. I
went with someone else’s harness first. After several months,
several thousand dollars, and a theoretically painless wiring harness
replacement for my ‘67 Chevelle, I still had roving bands of electrical demons all through the system. I finally decided to jerk the whole thing out and start over again. Hey, I have an engineering degree - I'm not a dumb guy. But this wiring harness stuff can get grenade-lobbing frustrating IF you don't start with the right components. What (?!?) was I thinking the first time around? I'll tell you. I was not putting my wiring harness and electrical system in the same class with my suspension, transmission, and engine for which I spent tens of thousands on high quality, near-bullet-proof components. And then I turn around and think a $199 wiring kit is going to support and sustain my mechanical investment? What a bonehead move!

Anyone asks me now and I'm not going to slam your competition. I'm just going to ask the simple question, "How vital is your car's electrical system?" It should be at the TOP of any restorer's/hotrodder's list. Because of your commitment to doing what you say (it's amazing how many people in the resto industry just let the words roll off their tongues and never mean a single bit of it), I will now have a solid, dependable electrical system in my car. Thanks for being one of the few people in the industry that has a truly high standard of excellence. Ease of installation? Heck, you WROTE that book!”

Thanks for all the information. I'm in the process of getting the car painted and will be contacting you for the harness shortly. Yes I did get your name from a friend who purchased a harness for his pickup. In fact it was the second harness he bought. The first one was from another company and it never did get installed due to the degree he would need to install it. He bought yours and has not had any problems. - Gary@ our web site. You can do it too!

Students from the transportation academy at the Orange Ulster Career and Technical School in Goshen, N.Y. won the 'Chairmans Choice Award' at the Rhinebeck Show in May. Many thanks to Ron Francis Wiring for designing a system for our car, we learned a lot by installing the complete kit and everything is working great. We got help from the Tri-State Car Club members who donated lots of hours showing us the correct way to install the wiring. Thanks again Ron for helping us to take our Hot Rod to the next level. We will keep you posted and recomend 'RON FRANCIS WIRING' to everyone we meet at the upcomming cruises and shows."

Text: Full email addresses will not be provided in order to protect our customers privacy:

My name is Henry A. I have a 55 chevy truck that has one of your wiring systems, it keeps blowing the 60amp fuse when the truck is running & I close the door. We called your tech help, and we did everything we were told to do, no luck I took it to a electrical shop, no luck, the shop that installed the system looked at it no luck. I went to the NSRA in Pueblo Co.6-26-04 & I ran into your Reps So I told them about my problem, & how unhappy I was, & they asked if I could bring the truck in, I did, They checked it out & with in 15 min they found the problem. The shop who installed the wiring ran it the wires through the door pillar & the wiring was pinched between the cab & the door hinge. I want to THANK your staff for the help, without them I would still be blowing fuses, and pulling out my hair. I want to apologize for not getting their names, I sure you know who the are. Thanks again, Henry wired in Pueblo. Irv Klair, Pike Creek, DE

Irv Klair says, “ I use only Wire Works wiring kits because their kit is custom made for my ‘37 Ford Truck’s components. There is no unneccessary splicing or modifying. This way I know my Ford is All Ford! I didn’t have to keep running out to get missing parts either. The switches I needed were included. Ron didn’t make me conform to him - he conformed his kit to me!

Ron-Just to let you know, I have heard MANY good comments about you and your business practices. I don't do much mail-order or e-commerce business, choosing to do my business in person at local businesses. Hearing the comments made about you, and the level of satisfaction expressed, is what made me choose your business over the 'other' wiring companies. I'll be spending a goodly sum of money, and don't need any 'drama'. Thanx-Mike-mhathdway@our web site.

Mike J, Lisbon, IA

Ron, I am almost to the point of wiring my street rod project, a 1946 Ford Convertible, and will be ordering a kit through Yogi's soon. I am totaly color blind and this makes wiring a difficult job under the best of conditions, but this will be the third car I've done using
your products and the first two worked flawlessly thanks to your outstanding kits. Thanks for putting out great products all these years and continued success to you and your company. Also thanks to you for helping out with our small town's car show with the
windshield stickers you provide. Best Regards, Mike J - Lisbon Iowa. (Full email addresses will not be provided in order to protect our customers privacy)

Joe Penna, Simi Valley, CA

Joe says, “I’ve built many street rods over the years, and tried many kits only to find that none compare to Ron Francis. There is an old saying ‘You get what you pay for’ and that is true! The product and tech support you get with a Ron Francis kit make it all worth while!”

Ronald Lopez, Jr., of Pearl City, Hawaii

Thank you guys for all your help. I just recieved my new wiring kit today. It looks awesome! You sure put out a quality product! I can definetly tell that there was alot of EFFORT into building and making a kit like yours, not like something off the shelf, and off the wall. I'll let you guys know how the process goes with the install, but by just skimming over the instructions, it really should be painless, ooppss, I mean not frustrating. Thanks again for all your help!!!

Cool Speedstar!

John Roccati of Old Cars Inc, used only Ron Francis’ Wire Works WIRING products in his Alloway Speedstar. This stunning eye catcher was built ground-up over a period of 2 years in his shop, located in Mahopac, NY. John is quoted as saying, “We have only sold and used Ron Francis products in our shop over the past 4 years that we have been a dealer.”

John creatively housed his wiring in 3/4” PVC plastic pipe that was fiberglassed inside the length of the rocker panels. His Advantage Panel is located in the left rear section of the trunk. Even his air cleaner shows the skill and craftsmanship that his shop is capable of.

We thank John for the opportunity to show off this vibrant beauty!
